Hi friends! I'm Kristina.
I am the sole owner and current operator of Rumours Hair Studio. Rumours Hair Studio is a private, single chair salon that provides organic hair services with 100% non-toxic and eco friendly styling products. I value environmentally conscious practices and am a certified partner with Green Circle Salons. Making sure to recycle properly and reduce salon waste.
I offer gender neutral services and pricing. I enjoy creating effortless styles that can be re-created by yourself when you're on your own or a more adventurous one, you've probably never tried before.
I am so grateful to be a small part of the abundant community within White Salmon, WA and the Columbia River Gorge.
My flare for curating self-expression came at an early age. I was born and raised in the Bay Area, Ca. In 2012 after completing two back to back apprentice programs, I established myself at a salon in the funky Lower Haight neighborhood of San Francisco, Ca. In 2017, I moved to Los Angeles and had the opportunity to work at a non-toxic salon. This is when my interest in the non-toxic beauty movement began. When March 2020 happened, I took it as a sign to move on from CA. I embraced a break from doing hair and moved to Washougal, Wa. where I lived and worked on an organic and self-sustaining homestead.
I am so excited to be able to offer you my custom styling from the comfort of my own non-toxic studio! Truly a dream come true.

I love creating styling solutions that will flow with your everyday routine, working together to find a style that gives you confidence. Give me your curly, grey, fine or thick hair. I love doing it all. I offer gender neutral services as well as razor, clipper and curly cuts!
COLOR
Yes, I paint hair. Offering all color services using low-tox Davines brand color. Whether you are looking for a modest change, grey coverage or something to make them look, I am happy to consult with you and find the best fit plan of action. I am also excited to offer 100% non-toxic styling products provided by O-way and Hairstory.
VIBES
Nestled in downtown White Salmon this cozy studio provides adult beverages, sparkling water, coffee, tea and a safe space. I believe in Hygge, good jams, reading materials and living plants. I provide a clean air space to create within and hope you feel at ease when you enter and exit.

Public lot is located on NE Wauna Ave directly across from Harvest Market.
Street parking is available on Jewett Blvd, NE Wauna and adjacent streets. Most spots require a short walk.
